IEEE Outstanding Young Professional Award
The IEEE Awards Program has paid tribute to technical professionals whose exceptional achievements and outstanding contributions have made a lasting, positive impact on technology, society, the engineering profession, and humanity—one innovation at a time. The IEEE Outstanding Young Professional Award recognizes the services and contributions of a young professional, age 35 years and younger, to the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Committee (PCIC).
Mr. Verma was nominated by the awards, and advisory committee made up of 16 experts representing the energy industry. Selection criteria for the award included a combination of authoring scholarly papers, presenting tutorials, serving as a subcommittee officer, completing paper peer reviews, contributions to standards development, transactions and IAS magazine publications, and other noteworthy contributions to the energy industry. Over the 66-year history of PCIC, Mr. Verma is the second recipient of this award.

About Manish
Manish Verma, Business Development Specialist at TMEIC, provides technical guidance and consultation for new products from idea generation through product launch, focusing on application, sales enablement, and business development of engineered Medium Voltage power conversion. He has authored more than twenty (20) technical papers published in internationally recognized journals and magazines. Manish is a senior member of IEEE, contributes to peer-reviewing papers, presents at technical conferences, serves on IEEE 1566 standard development, and is the Secretary of the IEEE Petroleum and Chemical Industry Transportation Sub-committee.
